The Girl lives and works in Washington, DC. She wears many hats at a national non-profit organization.
Like that American Express slogan, she never leaves home without a camera and loves to travel. She has visited half the continental United States, Canada, almost 10 European countries, a couple Caribbean islands, and will soon venture to Africa. She can understand Portuguese and French if you speak real slow.
She’s an avid reader and tends to wander through the mystery and suspense aisles of book stores and libraries. She’s also an armchair archaeologist, a volunteer at a history museum, and is always happy to meet new people.
In a nutshell she is a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
